American Heart Association: CPR VR
AHA was looking for a good way to get CPR instructions across in virtual reality. The challenge- not everyone has a manikin to practice on. We determined measuring the BPM of the user’s hand as they attempt CPR over our custom UI was the best user experience.
UI/UX
Our process started with our UI/UX lead wire-framing the full end-to-end experience, which allowed the devs and designers to thoroughly understand every potential user scenario. We then prototyped early interactions to define precisely how hands would engage with the scoring system.
The environment revealed the unfolding story.
A few aspects of the UI needed to be prototyped to make sure visually it was clear. The space needed to be blocked in to test in VR as soon as possible.

We brought these powerful processors to life by showing what they can do and highlighting the IBM team's expertise. We created profiles to showcase each person's role in building them, detailing how every component worked together.
