D’USSE x Hit-boy AR Experience
We successfully brought the agency's vision to life by creating an augmented reality experience for award-winning producer and rapper Hit-Boy's new cognac. I led the creative direction, while @cantbefaraz handled the development.
Setting up Hit-Boy
After a volumetric scan of Hit-Boy, @elliotjohnson optimized the model for real-time augmented reality, while @chrisfisher handled the texturing.
Once the model was optimized, I began testing it in AR to identify any potential issues or "gotchas" before moving forward.
I used AccuRig and ActorCore to direct and refine the animation within Cinema 4D.
Challenges of AR
Optimizing every detail is the biggest challenge in creating a great interactive AR experience. Everything must be meticulously designed to be clean and high-performing, from the 3D models and textures to the animations and user interface. This ensures that the character's actions are smooth and responsive, resulting in a seamless and engaging experience for the user.
